Job summary

CBRE is recruiting a Plumber to join the team located in London. The role involves preventive maintenance, repair, testing and installation of plumbing and medical gas distribution systems across the facility.

You will repair, install, and troubleshoot plumbing networks, maintain safety inspections, and support other staff on projects requiring plumbing expertise. Opportunities to train peers and contribute to building system reliability are available.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in plumbing or related trades.
• Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems.

Responsibilities

• Performs general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing and mechanical systems throughout the facility.
• Responds to general maintenance duties and operates hospital/building equipment and systems as assigned.
• Repairs, installs, replaces, tests and troubleshoots the water and medical gas supply and distribution system including valves, fixtures, and outlets.
• Installs new water piping and fixtures in accordance with blueprints, drawings, specifications and applicable codes.
• Maintains waste and vent lines in good operating condition using appropriate tools.
• Assists other department staff or contractors on projects requiring plumbing expertise.
• Completes plumbing safety inspections and PMs on backflow devices as assigned (with proper certifications).
• Acts as a resource and provides training to other staff for light plumbing maintenance.
• Performs general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
