Job summary

Vintage.com’s Leeds-based Facilities Team keeps workspaces clean, hygienic, and welcoming for colleagues and visitors. As a Facilities Operative (Cleaning), you’ll move around the site, independently organising your day, maintaining high standards and raising issues when needed.

You’ll collaborate with the Facilities Manager and wider team to ensure safe, well-maintained spaces and prompt responses to cleaning needs while living our values of care, integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, facilities or another hands-on role where maintaining high standards is important.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and well cared for.
• Ability to organise and prioritise your own tasks throughout the working day.
• A reliable and proactive approach, noticing what needs doing and taking responsibility for getting it done.
• Ability to follow cleaning, hygiene and safety procedures consistently.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily cleaning across assigned areas, keeping workspaces clean, hygienic and ready for colleagues and visitors.
• Check high-traffic and communal areas throughout the day, responding quickly when additional cleaning is needed.
• Keep restrooms, kitchens and other shared facilities clean and ready to use throughout the working day.
• Monitor and replenish soap, paper products and other hygiene essentials so facilities remain stocked.
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues across the site and respond to day-to-day facilities needs.
