Buckler’s Mead Academy in Yeovil is seeking a Facilities Operative to support the Premises Manager across two schools. The role involves basic maintenance, servicing, procurement, and health and safety tasks, with responsibilities for opening and securing the premises each day.

The post is full-time and permanent, with shifts across early and late slots. The academy offers a supportive induction and ongoing professional development within a thriving school community.

This is a full time, permanent post.Having achieved another \"record-breaking\" set of results in summer 2025, and following on from our Ofsted visit in May 2024 where we were judged as a strong ‘Good’ in all areas, Buckler’s Mead Academy is going from strength to strength.The role supports the Premises Manager in areas including servicing, procurement, health and safety, contract management and premises development. Duties will include basic maintenance, repair and refurbishment tasks.
