Job summary

A prominent education institution is seeking a Facilities Operations Engineer to maintain and refurbish buildings across its UK campuses. The candidate will perform preventative and reactive maintenance, handle building and equipment upkeep, and support refurbishment projects. Candidates must have relevant electrical qualifications, manual skills, and a proactive approach. Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience equivalent to City & Guilds in Electrical Installations.
• Ability to carry out preventative and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install and refurbish fabric and equipment across UK estates.
• Monitor condition of GBS buildings and undertake repairs.
• Assist in planning refurbishment projects.

Skills

18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations

Previous experience in building maintenance

Manual skills and knowledge of refurbishment techniques

Flexible and proactive approach

Familiarity with COSHH requirements

Interpersonal skills

Full, Clean Driving License
