Job summary

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust and Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to lead estates and facilities across multiple NHS sites in Hertfordshire. You will oversee staff, coordinate maintenance, security and soft FM services, ensuring safe and well-maintained environments for patients and staff.

The role requires strong leadership, IT skills, and a flexible, team-oriented approach, with a full UK driving licence and willingness

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE level or above with a degree or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role and NHS/public sector preferable.
• Ability to manage estates and facilities services with basic H&S awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead facilities/estates operations across NHS sites.
• Coordinate staffing, maintenance, security and soft FM services.
• Maintain site operations, drive continuous improvements and audits.
