Avon and Somerset Police is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities services across the Constabulary’s estate. You will ensure buildings are safe, compliant and well maintained, while supporting facilities management across the organisation.

Working with colleagues and stakeholders, you will maintain high standards and help deliver an effective service for officers and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management.
• Experience leading across multiple sites.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Full driving licence or ability to travel throughout the force area.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery to facilities management systems, processes and services in support of frontline policing.
• Drive delivery of service objectives and business priorities.
• Manage facilities projects, ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality standards.
• Develop and oversee estate investment plans using asset and condition data.
• Use performance data to improve efficiency, sustainability and value for money.
• Prioritise facilities requests and manage service demand.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop training plans to support team capability and service delivery.
• Manage contracts and supplier performance to maximise value for money.
• Oversee budgets and ensure compliance with financial procedures.
• Lead on site health and safety matters and provide expert advice.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure effective and compliant site management.
• Support senior leadership and deputise for the Delivery Manager when required.
• Lead, develop and support a team of Facilities Officers.
