Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for maintaining world-class operating environments across building systems, infrastructure and services. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, capital projects and contracted services, ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, FDA, OSHA and DSEAR requirements while enabling R&D and manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in facilities management or related field.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in facilities management in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to maintain facility operations across building systems, infrastructure and services.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and capital expenditure projects.
• Oversee contracted services (security, janitorial, grounds) and coordinate with site leadership.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, FDA, OSHA, DSEAR and other regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement, energy management and safety across the facility.
