Job Description:
Our client, a leading aerospace material supplier specializing in products for the aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) sector, is looking to recruit a Facilities Manager based at their new offices and warehouse in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
On Offer:

- Salary up to £55K, dependent on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring systems and equipment function efficiently and safely.
- Change Requests: Manage and prioritize requests for facility changes or alterations.
- Building Management System (BMS): Oversee operation and maintenance of BMS, ensuring optimal performance of HVAC, lighting, and power systems.
- Coordination: Liaise with landlords, contractors, and service providers for repairs, maintenance, and renovations.
- Security and Safety Systems: Manage security, fire safety, and access control systems, ensuring compliance.
- Waste Management: Oversee waste and recycling streams and coordinate collection.
- Warranty and Equipment Management: Track warranties, address equipment issues, liaise with suppliers.
- Request Tracking: Log and manage repair and request tickets, ensuring timely completion.
- Procedures and Training: Develop SOPs, conduct training for staff.
- Maintenance Records: Maintain up-to-date maintenance logs and schedules.
- Supplier Relations: Communicate with vendors and contractors.
- Emergency Response: Be available for out-of-hours emergencies and respond promptly.
Requirements:
- Experience in facilities management or related field.
- Facilities Management certification (e.g., IFMA, BIFM).
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience managing vendors and contractors.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including BMS, security, fire, and access control.
- Experience with change management and facility alterations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities management software.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
