About The Role

Are you a skilled leader passionate about creating safe, efficient, and inspiring workspaces? AsFacilities Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our facilities and grounds meet the highest standards. Your leadership will drive the seamless operation of our properties, compliance with regulations, and a superior workplace experience for our team.

You will manage and mentor a talented team of maintenance and custodial staff, overseeing day-to-day operations and long-term projects. Reporting to the Plant General Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a key role in future-proofing our facilities through strategic planning, sustainability initiatives, and innovative solutions.

What You'll Do

• Supervise custodial and maintenance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and safety
• Develop and execute a comprehensive preventative maintenance program across all assets
• Ensure Building Excellence
• Manage lighting, HVAC, and building control systems to ensure efficiency and comfort
• Respond to fire alarms and conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Plan and oversee major renovations, new construction projects, and office expansions
• Partner with the Director of Capital Projects to implement innovative solutions for new building developments
• Monitor expenses, control the maintenance budget, and maintain an inventory of critical parts and equipment
• Negotiate and manage contracts for landscaping, snow removal, pest control, and other outsourced services
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Lead the creation of maintenance manuals and implement technician training programs
• Review processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Collaborate with leadership at multiple locations to align best practices and share resources.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in Facilities Management or a degree from a vocational trade school
• Leadership expertise with the ability to manage a team of 10–30 mechanics and custodians
• A track record of executing large-scale facility upgrades and renovation projects
• Strong technical skills: proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and building control systems
• Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics
• A proactive problem-solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills
