WINNER Recruitment is currently working with a highly reputable service provider to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager to support a key local government contract. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing both in-house engineers and external contractors to ensure the effective delivery of facilities management services.

WINNER Recruitment is currently working with a highly reputable service provider to recruit an experienced Facilities Manager to support a key local government contract. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing both in-house engineers and external contractors to ensure the effective delivery of facilities management services.

The successful candidate will manage daily operations, maintaining regular communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure expectations are consistently met. They will take responsibility for the cost management of planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring all work is delivered on time and within budget. A strong focus will also be placed on meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring all work carried out is compliant with relevant regulations and standards.

This role also involves conducting audits and compliance reviews to maintain quality and statutory obligations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, particularly within a public sector or local authority environment, and possess excellent team management, financial, and communication skills.

Roles

  • As a Facilities Manager you will be responsible for hard services across a local government contract
  • You will be responsible with managing internal and contracting engineers across the sites
  • As a facilities Manager you will be responsible for cost management of all planned and reactive maintenance across the contract
  • You will also be responsible for meeting SLAs and ensure work is compliant with regulations
  • As a facilities Manager you will communicate effectively with client, contractors and all stakeholders
  • You will complete site audits ensuring compliance is upheld

Candidate

  • As a Facilities Manager you will have experience of managing client expectations and contractor performance
  • You will have excellent communication skills and are able to hold people accountable
  • It would be desirable for you to have either mechanical or electrical qualifications
