Job summary

Technical Futures Ltd is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to maintain and support a medium-sized site south of Cambridge. You will be involved across a wide range of building services, with on-site duties from 8am to 5pm and a leadership role for a small team.

The role requires an electrical qualification (ideally) and solid experience in HVAC, heating, fire safety and security systems, plus a proactive approach to refurbishment projects and keeping detailed site records.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a medium-sized site with hands-on involvement.
• Knowledge of H&S, building and fire regulations.

Job description

A hands–on Facilities Manager/ Supervisor will take responsibility for maintaining, repairing and supporting all utilities, facilities, buildings and services for an established Technology Company at their medium sized site, south of Cambridge. You ll be hands–on across a wide range of building services, be a qualified electrician (ideally) as well as being confident in taking on refurbishment projects and managing a small team.

This Facilities Manager role will be on–site daily (8–5). A competitive salary will be offered up to CGBP55K plus numerous benefits including 25 days holiday, Private Healthcare, 10% Company Pension contributions and much more.

The ideal Facilities Manager will bring:

• Experience of Managing a medium sized site as well as being happy to be very hands–on.
• Knowledge of H&S Compliance, buildings and fire regulations etc.
• Electrician qualification (ideally) together with a good understanding and experience of building services systems such as heating systems, HVAC, fire safety and security systems.
• The ability to maintain site records and manage a small team.
• Experience of overseeing varied maintenance and installation projects.
• Willingness to take on a range of projects such as refurbishment or building conversion.
