Job summary

Technical Futures Ltd is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to maintain, repair and support all utilities, facilities, buildings and services for our medium-sized site south of Cambridge. You’ll be hands-on across a wide range of building services, ideally with an electrician qualification, and will lead a small team through refurbishment projects.

The role is on-site daily (8–5) with a salary up to £55,000 plus benefits including 25 days holiday, private healthcare and a 10% company pension.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a medium sized site.
• Knowledge of H&S compliance, buildings and fire regulations.
• Electrician qualification (ideally) with good understanding of building services such as heating, HVAC, fire safety and security systems.

Job description

A hands–on Facilities Manager will take responsibility for maintaining, repairing and supporting all the utilities, facilities, buildings and services for an established Technology Company at their medium sized site, south of Cambridge. You'll be hands–on across a wide range of building services, be a qualified electrician (ideally) as well as being confident in taking on refurbishment projects and managing a small team.

This Facilities Manager role will be on–site daily (8–5). A competitive salary will be offered up to CGBP55K plus numerous benefits including 25 days holiday, Private Healthcare, 10% Company Pension contributions and much more.

The ideal Facilities Manager will bring:

• Experience of Managing a medium sized site.
• Knowledge of H&S Compliance, buildings and fire regulations etc.
• Electrician qualification (ideally) together with a good understanding and experience of building services systems such as heating systems, HVAC, fire safety and security systems.
• The ability to maintain site records and manage a small team.
• Experience of overseeing varied maintenance and installation projects.
• Willingness to take on a range of projects such as refurbishment or building conversion.
