Amey in England is recruiting an on-site Facilities Manager for HMYOI Drake Hall to lead the facilities team, drive compliance and ensure safe delivery of services across the site. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and budget oversight within a prison environment.
You will manage planned and reactive maintenance, ensure audits and reporting, use Power BI to monitor performance, and maintain health and safety standards while delivering a positive site culture.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-site Facilities Manager at HMYOI Drake Hall. This is a key leadership role within an established and supportive team, where you will play an important part in driving compliance, supporting team culture, and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of facilities services across the site.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on‑call responsibility for escalations where required.
At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons.
By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
The Facilities Manager plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner. This role would suit an experienced Facilities Manager, Site Manager or operational leader who enjoys developing teams, building strong working relationships, and creating a positive, well‑managed site culture.
Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
