Job summary

Amey is recruiting a Plumber for a permanent role at HMP Stafford. The position involves 39 hours per week on rota, including 1 in 3 weekends with a 15% allowance of basic salary. Base salary ranges from £30,866 to £36,135, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance.
  • Experience in operating light plant.
  • Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Routine and non-routine maintenance.
  • Mains water supply repairs.
  • Fault finding; identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
  • Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Stafford.

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. Staff are required to work on a rota basis between08.00 – 16.30.There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience.

What you will do:
