Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead all Hard Services at a large-scale MOD site in the UK. The role is a 12-week temp-to-perm contract based at Shefford, Bedfordshire, with pay of £25.53 per hour PAYE (£53,123 per annum) and 42.5 hours/week.

The ideal candidate will drive reactive/planned maintenance, ensure safety compliance (CDM) and manage outsourced contracts to optimise costs and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH health and safety qualification (or appropriate equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of property, facilities and asset management.
• Detailed knowledge of safety regulations, particularly CDM.
• Building services experience or equivalent.
• Hard FM management experience, preferably within healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead reactive and planned maintenance and low value works for the site.
• Ensure the site meets performance targets set by the client.
• Deliver day-to-day management of core works and low value projects.
• Work with the Operations Director to reduce operating costs and increase revenue.
• Manage outsourced services contracts focusing on customer experience and financial performance.
• Report to client and internal teams, tracking KPIs and SLAs.

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project. They are looking for an experienced Facilities Property Manager to manage all Hard Services at a large-scale MOD site.

The successful Facilities Manager will have proven experience in leading facilities management strategies and functions in a safety critical and customer facing environment.

Location: Shefford, Bedfordshire.

Key responsibilities for the Facilities Manager will include:

• To lead, manage and oversee the delivery of Reactive/Planned Maintenance and low value billable works (circa £5K) for the specific site under your control
• To ensure that this site meets the performance targets set by VIVO & DIO
• To deliver the successful day-to-day management of Core Works (Reactive and Planned Maintenance) and low value projects for this site
• To work with the Operations Director to reduce operating costs, drive cost deficiencies and increase revenue and profit for the business
• Manage the outsourced services contracts with specific reference to end user customer experience and financial performance.
• Report both in-house and to the client, managing KPI's and delivering on SLAs.

Pay: £25.53 per hour PAYE / £53,123 per annum

12-week temp-perm contract.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Holder of NEBOSH health and safety qualification (or appropriate equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of property, facilities, and asset management
• Detailed knowledge of safety regulations (particularly CDM)
• Building services experience or equivalent.
• Hard FM management experience preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Hard FM management preferred.
