We are looking for a Facilities Manager to help shape and maintain our estate, supporting the delivery of vital services for children, young people and families across Birmingham.
Reporting to the Senior Facilities Manager, this is a key role within our Property and Facilities team, responsible for ensuring that our buildings remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and fit for purpose. You will lead on planned and reactive maintenance programmes, manage contractors and suppliers, oversee compliance obligations, and support the delivery of property improvement projects across multiple sites.
No two days will be the same. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate emergency repairs, manage facilities budgets, monitor contractor performance and support the delivery of small capital works projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and Trust policies relating to health, safety and welfare.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building strong working relationships and driving continuous improvement. You will be trusted to identify opportunities to improve services, enhance the working environment for colleagues and help deliver an estate that supports excellent outcomes for children, young people and families.

This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham, with regular travel required across Trust sites. You must have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK. Sadly, we do not support those who require sponsorship.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced facilities or property professional who can successfully manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Please note as part of our onboarding process, the successful candidate will be required undergo a series of background checks with Experian including Experian DBS, Experian Right to Work, and Digital ID verification. These are essential pre-employment requirements.
