Birmingham Children’s Trust is seeking a part-time Business Support Officer to join our Family Time and Conference Service. You will support reception operations, handle customer enquiries in person and by phone, and help allocate and prioritise work for the Business Support Assistants.
You will manage rosters, raise purchase orders, handle invoices, and maintain children’s records. A friendly, proactive team player is essential to deliver high-quality service.
We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Support Service for a part time self‑motivated Business Support Officer to join our Family Time and Conference Service, providing essential support to the reception function and the day to day running of our Family Time and Conference Centres. This will involve meeting and greeting internal and external customers, resolving customer enquiries face to face and over the telephone, supporting with the allocation of work to the Business Support Assistants, managing and prioritising the workload via inboxes, completing and monitoring rota’s, raising purchase orders, dealing with invoices, supporting with building enquiries and updating children’s records. You will provide advice and support to Business Support Assistants in the team on a day-to-day basis and collate statistical information as directed.
Please note as part of our onboarding process, the successful candidate will be required undergo a series of background checks with Experian including Experian Right to Work, and Digital ID verification. These are essential pre‑employment requirements.
