Royal Mail's property estate, with around 1850 properties, is one of the largest in Europe. It includes local delivery offices, offices, vehicle garages, rail hubs, and automated parcel superhubs. The Property and Facilities Solutions team maintains the safety and upgrades of these buildings. We are seeking a Facilities Management Works Coordinator based at the National Service Centre in Leeds.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating and dispatching jobs to engineers, monitoring building maintenance requests, and ensuring schedules are accurate and jobs are completed efficiently. You will liaise with subcontractors, managed agents, and hire teams to ensure timely completion of works, identify at-risk jobs, and escalate issues to meet targets.
Using your first-class customer service skills, you will manage queries via email, telephone, Teams, and face-to-face interactions, supporting the Helpdesk, Engineering, and customers to maximize resource and productivity, providing a seamless customer experience.
Flexibility is essential as you may need to cover additional tasks, including annual leave cover and volume demands across other team areas.
You should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Working hours are 08:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid approach: 3 days in the Leeds office and 2 days remote. Training will be on-site, possibly full-time during training. Flexibility to attend 5 days if required is necessary.
Leeds Mail Centre offers on-site parking, is near the city center with good public transport links, and has an on-site gym and canteen facilities.
