Job summary

The Arnold Clark Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Operative at our GTG Training centre in Edinburgh. You will join a small, focused team and have opportunities to learn and progress within the facilities function.

Typical duties include setting up rooms for events, maintaining premises to a high standard, and occasional evening/weekend work. You will work in a role that values safety, compliance with risk assessments and good communication with guests.

Qualifications

• Be enthusiastic, driven and highly motivated with a desire to go the extra mile to make an event successful.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to cope with fast pace and pressure while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up function and meeting rooms to a high standard for guests.
• Maintain the facility to ensure everything runs to a high standard.
• Open and lock up the centre in the evening.
• Occasional evening and weekend work.
• Ensure all work follows risk assessments.
• Comply with Working at Heights, COSHH and Manual Handling regulations.
