Job summary

Mezzino is seeking a Maintenance Operative to ensure our properties are well-maintained, safe, and clean for residents. You will carry out general maintenance, repairs and inspections while supporting the site team to deliver excellent customer service.

In particular you will ensure tests and checks are logged and maintenance items inspected, repaired and logged. A full-time role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with responsibilities across building fabric, safety, and grounds.

Qualifications

• Basic O' Level / GCSE qualifications and a technical qualification.
• Relevant experience in building fabric/building services repair & maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer focused service to residents and clients.
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and inspections on properties.
• Log tests and checks, inspect and repair maintenance items as logged.
• Monitor health and safety matters and coordinate with contractors as needed.
• Support gardens and grounds maintenance and keep records up to date.
• Respond to on-site issues outside office hours when required.
