Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys variety, problem-solving and keeping essential operations running smoothly?

Join our Maintenance team and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of a world-class manufacturing site. Working across a diverse engineering environment, you'll help maintain critical site infrastructure, support facility improvements and carry out preventative maintenance activities on key plant and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that values practical expertise, teamwork and continuous improvement, while offering stability and opportunities to broaden your skills.

This role offers the chance to move into a business that values stability and work-life balance. With a fixed shift pattern, you'll know exactly when you're working each week, providing greater consistency than many larger operations where shift arrangements regularly change.

About the role

Reporting into the Maintenance function, you'll support the maintenance and upkeep of essential site services and equipment across our manufacturing operation. This is a varied position where no two days are the same. You could be carrying out planned maintenance on plant equipment, supporting mechanical repairs, maintaining site services or assisting with infrastructure improvements across the facility.

Working closely with the wider engineering and maintenance teams, you'll help ensure critical systems remain operational while contributing to a safe, clean and efficient working environment. The role offers exposure to a broad range of mechanical maintenance activities and site-based engineering tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and variety.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of site facilities, services and infrastructure.
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance activities on plant and equipment.
  • Assisting with mechanical repairs, installation work and improvement projects.
  • Maintaining equipment including sand reclamation systems, compressors and associated site services.
  • Supporting hydraulic, pneumatic and general mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Working collaboratively with maintenance engineers and contractors when required.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site standards.
Who we’re looking for

We're looking for a practical and adaptable Technician who enjoys a varied workload and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

  • Experience within a maintenance, facilities, mechanical or engineering environment.
  • Good mechanical maintenance skills with experience working on industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics or general plant machinery.
  • Ability to carry out planned preventative maintenance activities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider engineering team.
  • Commitment to health, safety and quality standards.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and work across a variety of maintenance tasks.
What you'll get

We'll provide you with a supportive and engaging environment where you can grow your skills and further your career.

In addition, you'll get the following benefits:

  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option to purchase more holiday days after your first year.
  • Westfield Health Insurance
  • Company pension
  • Free onsite parking
  • Additional shift bonus (where applicable)
