Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited Rugby Depot in Rugby is seeking a practical, reliable Buildings & Vehicle Maintenance Person to maintain depot facilities and carry out steam cleaning and deep-cleaning of our fleet.

The role involves general repairs to buildings and facilities, basic plumbing and carpentry, operating pressure washers and steam cleaning equipment, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of vehicles and surroundings.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, facilities management or similar practical role.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Experience with pressure washers or steam cleaning equipment (desirable).
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance to depot buildings and facilities.
• Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and minor electrical tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections and report defects.
• Maintain external areas including fencing, pathways, signage and grounds.
• Assist with depot improvement and refurbishment projects.
• Ensure a safe working environment by addressing hazards.
