Job summary

Brooksby Melton College is seeking a Maintenance Officer to join the Loughborough College Group at Brooksby College, full time or part time. You will support a proactive estates service, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to keep College facilities safe and functional.

The role covers inspection, reporting, and responding to security issues, with shifts from early morning, 05:45 to 21:45, Monday to Friday on rotation, and occasional weekend cover for events.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or other trade skills
• Proven experience of co-ordinating a range of tasks and activities
• Proven and extensive experience of working in maintenance or a construction trade

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general maintenance supporting all aspects of the estates department
• To inspect repair where possible and report all defective equipment including safety equipment
• To be a key member of the response team to security issue which may arise on the estate
• To ensure Maintenance issue meet all college KPI’s and SLA’s
