Job summary

We are recruiting a Maintenance Officer for Brooksby College, part of Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby College. The role supports a proactive estates maintenance service, handling planned and reactive tasks to meet college needs.

Working 37.5 hours weekly across two shifts (05:45–13:45 and 13:45–21:45), with occasional Saturdays or Sundays for events like open days. This is a permanent post within the Loughborough College Group network.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance or other trade skills
• Proven experience of co-ordinating a range of tasks and activities
• Proven and extensive experience of working in maintenance or a construction trade

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general maintenance supporting all aspects of the estates department
• To inspect repair where possible and report all defective equipment including safety equipment
• To be a key member of the response team to security issue which may arise on the estate
• To ensure Maintenance issue meet all college KPI’s and SLA’s
