Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Manager to lead the Facilities Team at our Omega Distribution Centre. You will oversee building maintenance, plant and services, ensuring safety, compliance and reliability.

Reporting to the Automation & Facilities Manager, you will manage planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management, budgets, and continuous improvement while coaching your team on the floor.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading building maintenance or facilities teams in a complex operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance and statutory compliance (PUWER, SSOW, COSHH).
• Experience using CMMS systems (ARMS or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the Building Maintenance team to deliver high standards.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management, and compliance.
• Balance safety, cost control and asset reliability with continuous improvement.
