Job summary

Vision Express is seeking a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead the UK retail facilities function. You will oversee maintenance across 700+ locations and support offices, driving efficiency and safety, while working with cross-functional teams.

You will manage budgets, lead a facilities team, engage contractors, and travel UK & Ireland to stores. Hybrid working from Nottingham CSC is offered, with career development in a global group.

Qualifications

Step into a role where operational excellence meets strategic leadership. As Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you'll lead the delivery of facilities management services across EssilorLuxottica's UK Retail property portfolio, ensuring our stores and support offices remain safe, compliant, efficient and fit for purpose.

What We\'re Looking For

• Previous Facilities & Maintenance experience, ideally within a retail environment
• Strong contractor, supplier and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing budgets, expenditure and cost control initiatives
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities
• Proven people leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams
• Strong understanding of facilities compliance, maintenance and operational best practice
• Project management experience would be advantageous
• Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland to visit stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Take an operational lead on facilities and maintenance operations across retail stores and support offices
• Manage planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance programmes
• Oversee key supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring service levels and KPIs are achieved
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire safety and statutory requirements
• Manage facilities budgets, expenditure reporting and cost-saving initiatives
• Support office and store refurbishment, renovation and dilapidation projects
• Drive continuous improvement across facilities processes and service delivery
• Lead and develop Facilities Coordinators and reception teams to achieve departmental objectives
• Monitor performance and deliver regular reporting on budgets, SLAs and operational activity
