Job summary

Red The Consultancy is seeking a Maintenance Groundskeeper to join on a permanent basis for a multisite facility. The role covers light maintenance, plumbing, painting, groundskeeping and safety compliance to keep sites safe and visually appealing.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, host contractors, test emergency and fire safety systems, and maintain water and HVAC systems while keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Recognised trade preferred (Joiner, Electrician, HVAC engineer, painter).
• Relevant experience working as a caretaker or tradesperson.
• Experience of working in a commercial office environment.
• Clean, valid driving licence preferred.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across the building, including lighting, electrical fixtures and general upkeep.
• Carry out facility checks, log defects, and schedule repairs for safety concerns.
• Host external contractors for on-site work and routine repairs.
• Conduct emergency light testing to ensure safety compliance.
• Test fire alarms and liaise with authorities to keep systems up to date.
