Job summary

Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) in Cambridge is a permanent, on-site role within a world-leading research organisation on a 400-acre site. The role offers on-the-job training and development toward supervisory positions as you progress.

You will maintain HVAC units, fire alarms, smart systems and standby generators, while also handling steam and plumbing work across multiple buildings. Overtime is paid at 1.5x, and a 1-in-8 on-call rota applies.

Are you a Facilities Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical background, looking for a permanent, static role, within a world-leading research organisation on a 400-acre site?

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining HVAC units, fire alarms, smart systems and standby generators with full onsite training. You will also do steam fitting, plumbing and vehicle maintenance.
