Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Engineer for a busy facilities management team in Donington. The role focuses on maintaining electrical systems, lighting and building services with a strong bias toward electrical work and mechanical knowledge.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs, and ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard in a commercial environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification required.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills are essential.
• Good mechanical knowledge and ability to work on pumps, motors and plant.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Electrical fault finding, repairs and general maintenance.
• Maintain electrical systems, lighting and building services.
• Carry out mechanical maintenance and basic repairs.
• Work on pumps, motors, plant and associated equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
• Complete maintenance records and compliance paperwork.
• Liaise with contractors and other site personnel.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard.
