Job summary

Bolt Technical is recruiting an FM Maintenance Site Engineer for the on-site engineering team at Hoddesdon, delivering maintenance on a large static site. You will support planned and reactive maintenance to ensure reliable operation of key infrastructure.

The role focuses on electrical systems within a warehouse/distribution context, with on-call duties and a competitive salary package including a 4% annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with electrical installation and maintenance skills.
• Experience with 16th/17th edition wiring regulations (17th edition preferred).
• Experience in warehouse/distribution environments is beneficial.
• Strong experience with electrical systems in industrial/warehouse settings.
• Competent in electrical isolation procedures and fault diagnosis.
• Experience working to PPM schedules and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and building services.
• Fault finding, testing and electrical isolation in line with H&S regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory testing and building regulations.
• Work as part of an on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks).

Standby: 1 in 3 weeks on-call rota

Are you an electrically-biased engineer looking to work on a large static site in a stable, long-term role?

Bolt Technical are hiring a Facilities Maintenance Site Engineer to join their on-site engineering team, supporting planned and re-active maintenance. You'll play a key role in ensuring the ongoing operation and safety of key infrastructure across the site

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and building services.
• Fault finding, testing, and electrical isolation in accordance with H&S regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory testing and building regulations.
• Work as part of an on-call rota (1 in every 3 weeks).

What They're Looking For:

• Electrically qualified - Installs and maintenance
• 16th or 17th Edition, 18th is desirable but no essential
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment would be beneficial but is not essential
• Strong experience with electrical systems in industrial, warehouse or distribution settings.
• Competent in electrical isolation procedures and fault diagnosis.
• Experience working to PPM schedules and service level agreements.
• A team player with a flexible, hands-on approach.
