Job summary

Cencora, at Alloga UK, is seeking a proactive Facilities Maintenance Technician to support safe, compliant operation of our sites. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, maintain facilities to a high standard, and assist with contractor activities.

The role is full-time (39 hours per week) with rotating shifts, and requires at least 2 years in facilities maintenance, strong safety mindset, and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in facilities maintenance, warehousing, engineering, or similar environment.
• Strong practical maintenance skills and understanding of safe systems of work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
• Knowledge of risk assessments and health & safety practices.
• Understanding of GDP requirements within an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and reactive maintenance tasks across the site.
• Maintain buildings, infrastructure, fixtures, fittings, and equipment to a high standard.
• Complete maintenance records, inspections, defect reports, and system updates accurately.
• Support contractor management by escorting and monitoring third-party suppliers on site.
• Identify and report defects, equipment failures, and safety concerns.
• Carry out routine inspections and statutory compliance checks.
• Assist with testing fire alarms, emergency generators, sprinkler systems, and other critical equipment where authorised.
• Support maintenance improvement projects and identify opportunities to improve safety, compliance, and efficiency.
• Maintain tools, equipment, workshops, and storage areas in a safe and organised condition.
• Assist with stock monitoring for maintenance materials and consumables.
• Support emergency response activities and business continuity requirements when required.
• Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, ISO standards, and company policies.

Facilities Maintenance

Location: Alloga UK

Salary: £14.48 per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts of 8:00am - 4:30pm and 8:00am - 6:00pm

Job Purpose
