Job summary

Facilities Assistant at Maidstone Police Station with Kent Police and Essex Police is a permanent, full‑time role working Mon‑Fri. Starting salary £26,712 per year, with potential rises up to £30,453 as the band increases.

You will support engineering, facilities and logistics services and may travel across Kent to support the logistics team. The ideal candidate will be organised, able to work under pressure, hold a UK driving licence, and have GCSE English and basic numeracy/IT skills.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and basic numeracy and IT skills are required.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt under pressure.
• Clean UK driving licence is essential.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices is essential; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engineering, facilities and logistical services within the station.
• Travel to other locations within Kent to support the Logistics service.
• Support the logistics team and assist with minor works and planned maintenance.
