ABOUT THE ROLE:
ALeadFacilitiesTechnicianroleworkingwithinthefacilitiesmanagementfunctionof oneofJLL’skeyClientportfolios.
The Lead Facilities Technician is responsible for managing and performing routine reactive and preventative maintenance tasks. This can include tasks in one or more fields for example, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and fabricrepairs.Leadingamulti-skilledteamdeliveringdaytodaysupporttoensurethe smooth running of our facilities service providing exceptional customer experience withinourClientsites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• WorkcollaborativelywiththeFacilitiesManager,Regional Engineering Managerandon-site teamstoensureplannedreactiveandpreventativetasksarecomplete
• Oversee site technicians and planning scheduler to ensure all planned maintenanceandreactivetasksareundertakentoallbuildingplant,equipment, andsystemstomeetorexceedtheaccountserviceslevelagreements
• Ensureallteammembersaretrainedtomeetlegalrequirementsandcollaborate incrosstrainingtohaveteambackupwhenneeded
• Ensureallonsiteplannedmaintenanceandreactivetasksareundertakentoall buildingplant,equipmentandsystemstomeetorexceedtheaccountservices levelagreementsandareperformedinaccordancewithlocallegislation.
• EnsurethatrecordsaremaintainedasrequiredbyOperational,Regulatoryand Statutorypractice
• Adhere to the Maintenance Management system in all engineering practices, includingplannedandreactivetasks,tomeetandexceedtheagreedservicelevel agreementsinlinewiththeMasterServiceAgreement.
• Ensure that planned maintenance activities are carried out, in compliance with accountStandardOperatingProceduresandensuremaximumavailabilityofplant anduserequipmentthroughefficientplannedmaintenanceandpromptresponse tofaults
• Providetechnicalsupportforprojectsandassistwithprojectdelivery
• Undertakesmallinstallationworks,repairstoMechanicalandElectricalplantand EquipmentQualityArrangements
• Maintainandcompletedocumentationforfireextinguishers,firesuppression systems,buildingalarmcontacts,andotherbuildingsystems.
• Maintainandrepairplumbingcomponentsincludingtoilets,urinals,lavatories, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping, and sump pumpsideally
• PerformgeneralHandymantaskstomaintainbuildingsincludingbutnotlimited to repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, controllers and where requested other building maintenance, repair, and restorative procedures as directed
• Provideallotherbuildingmaintenance,repair,andrestorativeproceduresas directed
• Ensurethatallworkordersarecompleted,issuedandcloseddowninfull compliancewithJonesLangLaSalleprocesses,systems,standardsandthe EquipmentMaintenanceSystem
• Whenrequiredprovideregularreports(Daily,weekly,monthlyasrequired) regardingallengineeringactivity
• Work closely with contractors and vendors on a regular basis, conducting risk assessmentsandfollowingsafetyprotocols,ensuringcompliancy.FollowingPermit toWorkprocedures.
• WorkwiththeinternalTasksystemtokeeptrackofallrequestedfacilitiesworkand closeoutactionsaccordingtoServiceLevelAgreements
• Provideappropriateandtimelyfollow-upstocolleaguesandcustomersinemails, tasksystems,socialpostsandfacetoface
• Workcollaborativelytosolveproblemsandresolvespontaneousandunique situationswithprofessionalismandservicefocusedapproach
• Make recommendations to leverage innovations whilst utilising technologies for theClientwhererequiredtoimprovesiteperformanceandmaintenancepractices
• Workinaccordancewithhealthandsafetymeasuresandpromotebestpractice amongst colleagues, contractors, and vendors. Wearing personal protective equipment when required to do so by the relevant risk assessment, method statementormandatorysignage
• Workaspartofthesustainabilitydrivetoreduceutilityconsumptionacrossthesite

ABOUT YOU:
• You have 3 to5 years’experienceinaMultiSkilledBuildingServicesMaintenance Role
• Youhaveexperience usingaComputerizedMaintenanceManagementsystem for managingPreventativePlannedMaintenance
• You can meet tight deadlines and work efficiently and collaboratively as part of a teamtosolveproblemswithprofessionalismandservicefocusedapproach
• Youkeepuptodatewithindustrytrendsandhavedirectexperienceoraninterest infacilitiesmanagementandcustomerservice
• Youareopenandhavegoodcommunicationskills
• Youstriveforexcellenceinwhatyoudoandshareideasforimprovement
