Job summary

Canlan Sports is seeking a pro-active janitor to perform janitorial and minor maintenance duties to ensure the upkeep of the sports complex. Responsibilities include cleaning and minor repairs to keep the facilities in top condition.

We value a hands-on, proactive approach and a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends to support peak periods and seasonal maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Completed high school education or equivalent (asset).
• Building Service Worker Certificate (BC) required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license considered an asset.
• Previous experience as a commercial building janitor preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and call-outs.
• Approachable, with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial and maintenance tasks per building codes.
• Keep entrances, grounds, and parking areas clean and safe.
• Clean and maintain restrooms; manage window/room cleanliness reports.
• Assist with minor maintenance and ice maintenance during peak periods.
