Job summary

Powerleague is seeking a dependable Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment at one of our UK football centres. This fixed-term contract covers a one-month absence cover, with training provided and clear duties to uphold high standards.

You will clean reception areas, changing rooms, toilets, pitches and communal spaces, follow cleaning schedules and hygiene protocols, work independently or as part of a team, and report hazards to the Duty Manager.

Qualifications

• Reliable, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow procedures and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Experience in cleaning or facilities is helpful – but not essential (full training provided).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise reception areas, changing rooms, toilets, pitches, and communal spaces including the car park
• Ensure the club is always presentable, safe, and welcoming for players and guests
• Follow and update cleaning schedules and hygiene protocols
• Work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Report any issues or hazards to the Duty Manager or Club Manager
• Replenish cleaning materials and maintain basic stock levels
