Lodge Trust is seeking a Site Maintenance Worker to keep our Market Overton site safe, functional and presentable. The role blends indoor and outdoor maintenance with practical tasks and a proactive, hands-on approach.

You’ll work with the Facilities team to ensure high standards, support events, and assist residents and staff. A trade background and a flexible, problem-solving mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and outdoor tasks with practical approach.
• Experience in general maintenance or facilities work is preferred.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Keep buildings and outdoor spaces safe and well maintained.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance (doors, locks, basic plumbing).
• Maintain pathways, fencing, gates, and landscaping.
• Support seasonal tasks like hedge cutting and gritting.
• Assist health and safety checks and risk identification.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, quality work.
• Help create a welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Support events and daily operations, setting up spaces as needed.
