Job summary

ISS is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric, minor plumbing, mechanical equipment and limited electrical tasks within documented competence. The role involves fault diagnosis, routine PPM tasks and safe reinstatement, with responsibilities for water hygiene checks and essential fire alarm/equipment tests in commercial properties.

Applicants should have substantial electrical building services experience and work safely under H&S

Qualifications

Experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance and installation.
Reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in commercial properties.
Ability to work under health and safety procedures, risk assessments and method statements.
Water hygiene duties, including temperature checks and outlet flushing; routine fire alarm and emergency lighting tests.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
Perform first-line fault finding, minor repairs and safe reinstatement.
Escalate specialist works requiring qualified engineers or statutory inspection.
Complete routine PPM tasks, including inspections and meter readings.
Undertake authorised water hygiene duties and fire alarm tests.
Maintain accurate records and communicate progress, risks and service impacts.
