Job summary

Synergi Search & Select Ltd. is seeking a Facilities Engineer for our large FMCG manufacturing site in Andover. The role covers end-to-end facilities and capital projects to improve site performance, safety, and infrastructure.

You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operations to deliver robust solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on engineering experience in industrial settings, with a track record of delivering facilities projects and improving energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering experience in large-scale manufacturing.
• Experience delivering facilities or capital projects.
• Strong collaboration with engineering, maintenance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of facilities and site infrastructure projects.
• Oversee CAPEX planning, budgeting and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams for project execution.
• Lead building services, utilities and site upgrades (HVAC, water systems, etc.).
• Drive energy efficiency, safety and site reliability.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP and site standards.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reports.

Synergi are recruiting for a Facilities Engineer with hands on engineering experience to join a large, world-leading manufacturing site based in Andover.
Our client, a continuously expanding name within their industry, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Project Engineer to play a key role in leading facilities and site improvement projects across a major manufacturing operation.

The Role

As a Facilities Engineer, you'll oversee a variety of facilities and capital infrastructure projects within a large-scale manufacturing environment,
You'll work closely with engineering, maintenance, and operational teams to deliver projects that enhance site performance, safety, compliance, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities as a Facilities Engineer

• Manage end-to-end delivery of facilities, site services, and infrastructure projects
• Oversee CAPEX planning, budget control, and project timelines
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Lead projects relating to building services, utilities, and site upgrades (HVAC, compressed air, water systems, etc.)
• Drive continuous improvement in energy efficiency, safety, and site reliability
• Ensure all works comply with HSE, GMP, and site standards
• Produce and maintain detailed project documentation and reports
