Job summary
Energy Jobline CVL in Harwell, Oxfordshire is seeking an experienced Electrician for a large Facilities Management organisation. The role requires 18th Edition, Part 1+2 Electrical Installation and AM2, with post-qualification experience.
You will perform PPM, electrical distribution, generator testing, AHUs, HVAC maintenance, and fire alarm checks. CAFM logging and on-call rota are part of the role; 24 days holiday, a discretionary bonus, pension, and career progression are offered.
Qualifications
- Must hold 18th Edition and Part 1+2 Electrical Installation; AM2 desirable.
- Experience with electrical systems in building services.
- Post-qualification industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM in accordance with maintenance spec; log in real time using PDA.
- Maintain electrical distribution systems, generator testing, AHUs, pumps.
- Conduct weekly fire alarm testing and monthly emergency lighting tests.
- Complete paperwork for PPM, reactive, and breakdown tasks; update CAFM.
- Record start/wait/stop times in CAFM and brief on follow-on works.
- Identify and report plant failures; be proactive about improvements.
- Participate in on-call rota.
