Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Glasgow is seeking an Electrician to join our team, supporting maintenance across facilities. You will respond to breakdowns, perform routine maintenance, and test power quality, emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.

You will interpret drawings and O&Ms, undertake upgrades and installations, liaise with subcontractors, and keep accurate site records. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with an on-call schedule.

Qualifications

18th Edition Wiring Regulations compliance.
Experience with building management systems and fault finding.
FM experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA's.
Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to a high standard.
Test and diagnose power quality issues.
Emergency light testing.
Fire alarm testing.
Interpret technical drawings / O&M’s.
Undertake upgrade and install work.
Liaise with sub-contractors as required for repairs and ensure works follow CBRE policies.
Monitor and analyse environmental conditions and critical equipment loading.
Determine root causes and actions to restore availability and prevent recurrence.
Maintain site logs and paperwork.
