Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Manchester is seeking an Electrician to joins its team. The role focuses on breakdown and routine maintenance, power quality testing, and testing of emergency lighting and fire alarms.

You will interpret technical drawings and O&M documents, carry out upgrades and installations, and liaise with subcontractors to ensure CBRE policies are followed. On-call rotation is available.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations.
• Experience with building management systems including fault finding and operator use.
• FM experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA.
• Carry out routine maintenance to a high standard.
• Test and diagnose power quality issues.
• Emergency light testing.
• Fire alarm testing.
• Interpret technical drawings, instructions & O&M documents.
• Undertake upgrade and install work.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors for repairs per CBRE policy.
• Monitor environmental conditions and equipment loading.
• Identify root causes and actions to restore availability.
• Maintain accurate site logs and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as required.
