Job summary

GLL is seeking a General Assistant at The Park Sports Centre in Holton, Oxfordshire. This part-time, flexible role offers varied duties from customer service and bookings to maintaining cleanliness and safety of facilities. A First Aid at Work certificate is preferred, and a positive, team-driven attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming, helpful, and professional service to customers.
• Prepare areas and equipment for events/activities as required.
• Conduct routine monitoring and basic maintenance of equipment, reporting faults to supervisor.
• Manage day-to-day operations and service of events, ensuring security and cleanliness.
• Ensure equipment is safe and fit for purpose before customers use it.
• Promote the facility to retain existing customers and attract new users.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times.
• Support a safe working environment and adhere to safety practices.
