Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the smooth operation of a UK theme park’s infrastructure. You will work with the Head of Facilities, engineers, and contractors to assist maintenance tasks, safety compliance, and operational administration to uphold high standards of safety and guest experience.

You will help coordinate repairs, manage procurement, and ensure timely task completion across sites, with a focus on safety and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance task checks to meet required standards.
• Manage assigned tasks ensuring SLA compliance and approvals for extensions.
• Review contractor/engineer job sheets and raise follow-up actions.
• Create and manage tasks for quoted works and remedial requirements.
• Assist with coordination of repairs and maintenance across attractions and facilities.
• Raise purchase orders for materials and services; track hire equipment.
• Maintain records of equipment hires and stock usage.
• Raise permits to work for sub-contractors; manage access requirements.
• Assist in scheduling engineers and contractors; chase for updates.
• Ensure all work complies with park safety policies and statutory requirements.
• Provide administrative support for other park sites as required.
