South Thames College is seeking a practical and reliable Facilities Officer to keep Wandsworth College well maintained and welcoming for students, staff and visitors. You will perform portering, day-to-day maintenance and repairs, and assist visiting contractors while conducting regular building checks to spot issues.

We value an organised, proactive individual with good communication skills and the ability to manage workload safely in a facilities environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in carrying out practical maintenance tasks and working safely in a facilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Portering and day-to-day maintenance and repairs (basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating).
• Record and track jobs through the helpdesk system.
• Support visiting contractors and conduct regular building checks.
