Job summary

Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) is seeking a Facilities Management Compliance Officer to support the Head of Facilities Management in developing and delivering the Facilities Strategy, and to oversee the Facilities Management function.

The role involves managing contract providers, ensuring compliance with legislation, promoting efficient delivery, and representing NIFRS at local and regional levels.

Responsibilities

• Strategic support to the Head of Facilities Management in developing and delivering the Facilities Strategy through the management of the Facilities Management function.
• Manage a range of contract providers, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, and promote and reinforce the effective and efficient delivery of the function.
• Represent NIFRS at local and regional level as required.
