Job summary

Haleon seeks a Technical Compliance Engineer to maintain and enhance site infrastructure, ensuring GMP, environmental and safety compliance. You will oversee engineering services, support capital projects, and drive improvements with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates hold a science/engineering degree and 3+ years in regulated facilities, with strong communication, leadership and Lean Six Sigma expertise. This fixed-term role is based on site in Weybridge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• 3+ years of managing complex facilities support services in regulated environments.
• Experience with GxP and R&D processes.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering related capital projects on site ensuring compliance with procedures and infrastructure strategy.
• Monitor service partners’ contract service levels and drive remediation as needed.
• Train and monitor Permit to Work process for safe high-risk activities.
• Ensure providers manage third parties to adhere to Permit to Work.
• Maintain knowledge of facility safety legislation (e.g., lifting systems, pressure systems).
• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for engineering issues.
• Collaborate across EHS, quality, Microbiology, and R&D with service providers.
• Own or support corrective and preventive actions where appropriate.
• Perform trend analysis of quality and safety systems and implement actions.
• Support site gap analyses against Haleon’s EHS & Engineering standards.
