Job summary

Runwood Homes seeks an Assistant Facilities Manager to join our friendly support team. This office-based role provides essential administrative and coordination support to keep our care homes safe, compliant, well-maintained and welcoming for residents, visitors and colleagues.

You will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across multiple care homes, liaise with contractors, maintain compliance records and update facilities systems while developing hands-on knowledge of building systems.

Qualifications

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with a professional approach.
• Experience in administration within facilities, property or maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance across care homes.
• Liaise with contractors to arrange visits and obtain quotations.
• Monitor completion of works and update records.
• Maintain compliance records and facilities documentation.
• Update facilities management systems and records.
• Respond to enquiries from care homes and provide timely support.
• Assist with reporting, audits, and departmental projects.
• Ensure maintenance issues are resolved efficiently and communicated.
