The National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty is seeking a Facilities Co-ordinator to ensure Knole and Ightham Mote run smoothly, with a practical, hands-on approach. The role involves maintenance, cleaning, and managing visitor facilities, car parks, and deliveries, in a physically active environment.

You will join a busy team, working across both properties, with accommodation provided where required and a strong focus on safety, conservation, and exceptional visitor

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and support services
• Knowledge of compliance and risk management
• Ability to use information management systems
• Awareness of conservation, environmental and sustainability
• Financial and resource coordination skills
• Good customer service and teamwork skills
• Well organised and adaptable
• Full driving licence

Responsibilities

• Run an efficient, flexible facilities service across Knole and Ightham Mote.
• Assist with reactive and planned maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee cleaning, care-taking, and presentation of public areas and visitor facilities.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections and prepare meeting rooms.
• Support car parks and grounds management.
• Role can be physically demanding.
