Working with the Facilities Manager, you'll mix practical on-site tasks with administrative duties.
Sizergh is an imposing medieval house situated at the gateway to the Lake District. The 1,600-acre estate includes our largest limestone rock garden and a national collection of ferns. Restoration projects within the house and garden have created opportunities in all areas, particularly within the extensive gardening operation and visitor experience. This is a lively property with a varied events programme and thriving café.
As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be making sure that Sizergh operates as it should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You’ll be helping with maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative), the presentation of public areas and visitor facilities (including car parks and grounds), co-ordinating contractors and keeping maintenance records up-to-date.
