Job summary

Leeds University Union (LUU) is seeking a Facilities Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning duties across our spaces, ensuring high standards and adherence to schedules. The role reports to the Cleaning Manager and requires a safety-and-service-first approach, with willingness to work evening shifts.

The successful candidate will have prior cleaning experience in a multi-use environment, strong communication, reliability and a flexible, can-do attitude.

Facilities Cleaning Supervisor(Role AD)

Pay: £13.11 per hour

Hours:18 hours per week -Thursday2100-0200, Friday 2100-0500, Saturday -2100-0200 Closing Date: 9am Monday 21 September 2026

About the role

To ensure that we maintain our spaces to a high standard, we require a Facilities Cleaning Supervisor who will work to our cleaning schedules, is willing to learn and contribute to the cleaning team in working together to achieve the highest standard of cleaning here at LUU.

You will work with the Cleaning Manager to ensure that we provide an effective cleaning service. A 'safety and service first' approach is required for this role and is vital in being successful.

What we're looking for

The successful candidate will have previous building cleaning experience and experience of working within a multi-use building. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to clean to a high standard is essential. Flexibility and a positive can-do attitude is required.
